Driven by his humble upbringing, he built Laramy’s to prove to himself—and to every Dominican entrepreneur who came from nothing—that extraordinary success wasn't reserved for the privileged. Through tireless advocacy, mentorships, and strategic investments, he was a living example for hundreds more to follow.

His commitment to "giving back" wasn't charity—it was nation-strengthening. In her current professional role, Sharlene oversees technology strategy and product development for a platform serving the world's leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies. She also served as Chief Technology Officer of a multi-billion-dollar asset management fund, where she led the development of highly distributed, low latency financial trading platforms. This experience in capital management, risk assessment, and enterprise technology directly informs her approach on the convergence of software engineering, growth equity and business operations.

Sharlene honors her father's legacy the only way that matters—by extending it. She's ensuring that Dominican entrepreneurs have access to world-class technology, capital, and strategic partnerships; not someday, but now.
